Newbie from Santa Cruz, CA
Hello, all...I am a fairly new 2004 350z owner from Santa Cruz, CA and saw this site on this guy's computer that I was buying some new wheels from. My car is pretty much stock right now, with the exception of the newer 18" stock wheels and a Veilside front lip spoiler(that I got for free from the guy I got my wheels from!) I just bodyworked it and painted it with some rattlecan and clear...matched up almost perfect. It is a 5-speed automatic...I opted for that because I have always owned manual cars and just wanted to get in and drive(also, the girlfriend doesn't know how to drive a manual transmission.) Anyway, I am an old car guy(my daily driver is a hopped up 1930 Ford Model A roadster with a '49 flathead V8) so new cars are very foreign to me. Hopefully you guys can steer me in the right direction and I can gain some valuable knowledge.

Welcome to the Z community Adam. Blown away and impressed that the Model A is a daily driver! I'm sure you'll enjoy the 350 just as much, haha, but not the same ground clearance though. So what prompted the move to the 350?
Yeah, that Model A was a bone stock wreck when I got it...took a few years to get it where it is today. Well, I think there were a few things that prompted the move to the Z...the first being I really wanted to finally finance something to build up my credit! I do tattoos for a living so I always deal in cash and always paid cash for cars...and they were usually old cars I would restore or hot rod. The second reason was the looks of the Z, wide and low and tough-looking...reminiscent of the cooler muscle cars of the late 60's and early 70's. It was the only newer car that really caught my eye, and it was reasonably priced. The third reason was the history of the Z cars...it was always interesting to me. I test drove one and bought it, fell in love with it. Couldn't be happier...
