Thumbs up After 3 1/2 years... I finally got one.

Well to start things off my name is Justin. I have been lurking around the forum for a few weeks now learning all I need to know about this car. I am 19 years old and have saved up for this car ever since I first saw one in 2003. I knew I had to have one so I picked up a 2005 DB Enthusiast 5AT for 22k. Fully paid off with my own hard earned money. I will admit I am under my parents insurance because it would be cheaper, but I am also paying that with my money. I did want a 6MT but when I saw this one I couldn't pass it up.

The pictures were taken from my phone and I will upload more when I wash it. It came with a chrome grill, the new rims you see and Toyo Proxies T1r. He also threw in the stock wheels for when it snows. Now that I am flat *** broke I don't have money for mods. I hope to get an intake, headers, and an exaust but that is for later down the road. The thing I am working towards now is the clear bra and perhaps way, way later I can work on the sound system. I am very proud to be a new Z owner and hope to meet some of you around the Maryland area when there are some Z meets.

Nice purchase brotha! And I give props for buying with your own monies! I probably would have waited a bit for the 6spd you really wanted though. Either way, welcome aboard!

Default Congrats!

Nice to see another MD Z. Those wheels look like SSR GT3s [or clone]. Check out the Mid-A regional forum for upcoming meets - UMCP meet for charity, Skyline drive to name a couple. Enjoy!

Welcome to the community Justin. Don't listen to the nay sayers, we know you'll look after the Z. Happy motoring. Oh, and very sweet ride you've scored.

Congrats on saving for all those years, and purchasing the car on your own. Good luck with the modding and be careful with the power and torque of the Z.

I guess I'm just a hard sell... but how is it that you could save for 3 1/2 years and then cave in and settle on an automatic when you said yourself you would rather have a 6MT? It's just not adding up. Congrats on the car and all, but if it's not everything you had saved all those years for, I don't see how you'd ever be truely happy with your purchase.

Haha, only reason I wanted to get it was because if I don't others will shun down upon me . It would have been nice to get it but I have driven both. Sure, it was alot of fun but I had just as much fun with the AT so it wasn't my determining factor. Plus, I'll admit it... I'm kinda lazy.
