Ive heard its because of following too close to the person in front, from all the gravel being kicked up. I think that's why I had rock chips on my previous Z. I try to keep a good distance from other cars now.
Yep gotta watch them rocks.., im that sixteen year old with the Z, my dad tought me that 3 mississippi rule , along with many other valuable lessons. Well, that quote might have sounded funny, but that actually happened to a guy here that bought his Z and was understandably quite excited and happy about his new purchase. But he wasn't used to the sudden bump in torque. Tried racing a BMW and wrecked his Z...got it torn in half (were you here already when this was going on?). Very sad, very tragic.
