Default New Z Owner! 2003 Silverstone. [Pics uploaded]

Hello,

Finally after a long wait and several years of trying to allocate funds (starting right around the time they came out in 03) I got my hands on a 2003 Silverstone 350z with 65k Miles. It's got some mild cosmetic road battle scars and a scratched Z Trunk logo + worn shifter **** but I love it!

I'll have some pictures up soon - I drove over 2140 miles round trip to get the car.

Before I get flamed... I'm damn near 20 years old and it's not like I was handed a new 350z - I spent less money on the car than the sticker price of most Honda Civics.

Edit: Ooops wrong forum...wheres the delete button? ahh, move please. I apologize for posting in the wrong section.

Welcome and congratZ on the 03. Battle scars are just character, that's what we have to tell ourselves. Enjoy.

Thanks, I'm loving it. I was afraid that I might be afflicted with mild buyer's remorse, but no such plague has casted a shadow of doubt on my biggest purchase .

Here are some photos:

I love the Silverstone color; I've always been more inclined to want a black car...Howerver the Silverstone is so classy and unique looking; not to mention I'm a somewhat "poor" college student and I don't really have the money/time to was the car all the time and fix scratches. I was very impressed at how clean this car remained even after driving it solid for over 1,000 miles.

Well she looks great considering you said there are battle scars. The SS being time poor hides a multitude of sins.

Yea if there is any light shining on the SS, even up close, the glare hides pretty much every scratch...but if you really kneel down and look close they are plenty.

I live in a college town and it's bound to get some more.

I'm on it... can anyone recommend the best way to take it off? It's a simple adhesive emblem but I've never taken one off a car - it's raised.

After all the time you spent thinking about getting a Z, I can't imagine you having buyers' remorse. You must be one happy camper! Congrats!
