I just bought a 2006 Carbon Silver 350z in 6 speed yesterday. 14,000 miles. Its alot more fun to drive than I thought it would be. Drivetrain is pretty smooth, and it has a great shifter for a stock car...silky smooth. I traded in my '89 Corvette that I had for about 4 1/2 years now. I just got tired of working on the damn thing every weekend, and wanted to upgrade to something more reliable and better built. Anyway, I'm proud of my new ride, I'll have to get some pics soon to post up here. Its a base model, and I miss the cruise control but everything else is great about it. I think I'll have to get some of the pedals that come on the higher models and one of the compass mirrors for my first mods.

the color is called silverstone, not carbon silver...both are very similar to each other but carbon silver is only made for the 07's and silverstone is from 03-06...just FYI. congrats on the ride though, looks a lot like mine ; )

 

Very cool picys! Your Corvette bonnet/hood looks miles long in those photos, similar length to a Jag 2 metres long.

Congrats. Nice car. Way nicer than the Vette IMO. I never really liked the long ended Vettes. The C6 is the only Vette I've liked since the early 60's models. Enjoy it. Hopefully you can meet up w/ some other Z ownersa in your area. Check the regional forum. Good luck.
