An unexpected, but happy I did - Purchase- Photo inside
So the wife and I go out and look at a 350Z at a dealership that I have some good ties to. Not only did they not hassle me, they made it completely impossible for me not to want to buy the car. I was almost looking for excuses not to buy it "it's the touring model, I only budgeted for the Enthusiast" etc.
Well we ended up buying it that same day and taking it home that night. Silver 2004 350Z Roadster Touring with 3200 miles and they knocked off about $5G's from the sticker price.
Here's a photo I took tonight.

Thanks again for all the helpful tips and all the encouragement

Scharky, congrats on the purchase. That's a great picture. Any tips on how to get a similar pic for a photography newbie like myself?
Thanks guys, also thanks for the questions. I just checked the grill, everything looks in place (although you had me freaked out for a minute). Not sure what's up with the wheels (although the owner did leave all his contact info in the Nav, so I could just swing by his house and ask him
).
As far as the camera it was a Canon 5D with a 16mm 2.8 Tilt shift lense. As far as getting good pictures as a newbie, the key to making cars always look fast is the wide angle lens. The closer you can get to the car, while keeping the whole car in the frame the more elongated the car will be.
They brought the car down to 24,999, and gave us about $500 over KBB on our trade in as well.
I did bring the car down to the nissan dealership yesterday, just wanted to have things checked out. They set up an appointment with me but told me that there was a factory recall on the fuel hoses for the 04 roadsters. They said it's about a 5 hour process, but doesn't cost anything. I also noticed possible signs of tire feathering in the front. What should I tell the dealer specifically in order to have that taken care of, is it just to adjust the alignment?

Yep that was one stipulation with the wife. Since when I am on shoots I have to drive the Jeep, she would have to take the Z to work. About a week ago I took her out in a friends car and tried to teach her how to drive a stick. Lets just say, if I wanted to keep the Z in good condition for longer than a month I was almost forced to buy a automatic. When I saw that it was an AT I was first really turned off, didn't even want to test drive it, but I did, threw it in to M tiptronic, and had an absolute blast. I honest didn't think it would be fun at all driving an AT. So with the bad driving wife, Seattle's hills and traffic, I'm actually quite happy with the AT-tiptronic, except for the wheels, those just have to go!
Suck, I'm about 2 months past the original warranty, and out of all the things my extended warranty covers, alignment, and I'm sure "toe in" is not one of them. Well, again it's all worth it though, I allready got a great deal, and the last owner took really good care of the car (except for fixing the feathering issue).
Gabez, it actually is my wallpaper right now
