Welcome to the site mate! For audio systems, it really depends on your budget. I would definitely get a deck with USB capabilities so you can use a 4GB or 8GB flashdrive for your MP3s. I also suggest replacing the 6.5s all around with components in the front. Amp those four if you got the extra cash. Of course you gotta amp the sub as well plus creating a custom box (search "z enclosures" on e*ay). Good luck. Crutchfield reviews is your friend.
For performance, it also depends on your budget. Read around the forums. The typical mods are cold air intake or k&n drop-in replacement, 5/16 plenum spacers, cat-back exhaust systems. Lowering it is a whole 'nother subject. Just keep on reading and do a lot of research before buying anything.

^ he's got your audio covered, now ill take care of your traction. An LSD would be suitable and I hear lots of base guys go for this, and to be frank they're very happy about them. Might be something you didnt know but only one of your wheels spin at the moment.
