I just picked up a 2003 Track with 34118 miles on it. It is everything I thought it would be and more. Easily the best car I have owned, granted I was coming from a 2004 Sentra Spec v. Dont get me wrong, those are great too, but the Z is awesome.

I felt the same way you did coming from an E36 M3. that car was a maintenance ***** and it felt totally different in the cockpit of the Z.

Didn't really get a good deal, but I got what I wanted. I paid blue book, which was close to 20k cause of the mileage bonus and I had about $1700 negative equity from the sentra. I put down $1000 and got it for 23,500 out the door.

not that bad actually....i saw an 03 track model at Carmax last summer with 28k miles, sticker was over 26k.

 

Question...The dealer I bought the car from replaced the passenger side headlight, but it is a halogen bulb. What needs to be changed? Entire assembly? Bulb?

Very nice pick up, I have the '03 Track w/navi and I must warn you the factory navi system sucks! Upgraded disc's cost $700 from Nissan and it was a group buy(GB) here for upgraded burned disc, I purchased and about two months later my navi stopped reading the disc altogether!

 

Haha, NOW you tell me. Yeah I have discovered that rather quickly. I searched for a recreational park that has been there for over 10 years and the navi listed it as being in a city about 30 miles northwest of where it actually is... Did the updated disc help at least? Did you even get a chance to use it?

Yeah that was one of the main reasons I wanted the car, well that and the Nav. The good news is, the Brembos aren't useless .
