Default New owner, old car, 1st stick

Hi guys. First, a little intro about myself. I'm a 22 yr. old college dude studying civil engineering. I live in the Boston area. And I LOVE cars.

Just got a new ride. 2003 Redline 350z Touring w/ Nav. 86k miles.
Yeah. This is my first time owning a stick. I'm really excited. I used to drive a 1999 Audi A6, now I have this. Clean car fax. Clean ride. The interior shows very little wear, no cracks or scratches anywhere. Exterior, paint seems pretty good for the mileage, except for the front bumper, which seems a lot more faded than the rest of the body. Aftermarket 19" rims. New snow tires on the OEM 18"s. Paid $15k

This is the 5th day now that I've had the car, been driving in it a lot. The car drives comfortably, and feels fast. But the clutch doesn't feel as tight as it should. Anyway, been lurking here and doing a lot of reading. WOW, there is so much to learn here. And there is so much to do! (I love the DIY section.) This car seems like it's gonna rip a deep hole in my wallet, but I still can't wait.

Haven't taken pix yet. I'll post them when I do.

Edit: Updated with pix!

Welcome on your 5th day of ownership of your Redline. Hehe, forget your wallet, your Z has possession over that now. Lol.

Congratulations and welcome.

Out of curiosity, how do you know the clutch doesn't feel as tight as it should if this is the first time with a clutch? What are you comparing it to? I'd let a buddy or someone with experience drive it and get their impressions.

Sounds like you got a good deal. Pics would be nice.

Thanks everyone for welcoming me!

@ I1DER, though this is the first time I am owning a stick, I do think I have a pretty good idea of how one is operated. The reason I feel the clutch doesn't feel as tight as it should, is because one of my friends owns pretty much the same Z, but with lower mileage. His clutch definately feels pretty different when compared to mine. The only way I can describe it is being more "tight", while mine feels more "loose".

Anyway, updated with pix ftw!
