Greetings!!! My name is nick and I am a zholic! This is my second Z, my first was an 87 300ZX when I was 17. I loved the car, except I got to put about 5k miles on it, and the headgasket blew, and that was the end of it. On to the new ride: I picked up an 06' Enthusiast with 8600 miles for 21k!!! I traded an 06 VW Passat (which was a sweet ride as well). I only have one gripe about the car. No cruise control!!! This will probably get me in a lot of trouble Anyways, I look forward to becoming a member of the family here!!! Let me know if anyone is in Charleston, SC and wants to hang!

I may be wrong here but if you got the "Enthusiast" model, it should have cruise control.
I thought only the base models did not have cruise.

 

Welcome to Z family Nick!! Can sense your excitement with your Z33. Keep engaging your brain and right foot at the same time and you'll have no problem in not having cruise control.

I've only ever used my Z's cruise control twice in the whole time I've had it.

 

Welcome Nick. Enthusiast models come with cruise control on the steering wheel, a button on the lower left dash that says TCS, and they have limited slip differentials which the base model doesn't.

Thanks for welcoming me. I do realize that it is not an enthusiast. **** on it. I still love it!!!! I want to share a little bit of my pain with you all: I sit at work from 10 am to 9 pm looking out a wall of glass at my car, and it sucks! I can hear her saying "get inside me" "let's leave together". I must share this with you because I can't tell my fiance this stuff. She get's a little jealous with the love I have for my cars. Could be worse I guess.

 

Haha, Z mistress. You get used to it, unless your partner is a car nut, jealousy is often a problem, sad but true.

 

i got the same feelings when i first bought my Z.
after 4 years of car payment and literally not a very practical car, I am ready to sell it to get a beat up civic.

 

You should be happy. The Z is the best car I have had. Welcome.

I understand what you're saying. I've had mine for over 2 years and I still sometimes make a special trp to the garage just to look at it.
Re. cruise control, I would guess the majority of people don't even use theirs so what's to miss?

I told my wife that Im having an affair with a Black Lady. It took her a second, she laughed and realized I was speaking of my Black FairLady. Thats the only other lady I have time for, I love her and she loves me. I hope yours loves you just as much. (The Z that is.)
