Guess I should ask some questions.

I'm looking into an 04 with about 45k on it. It's a base model. The only thing I THINK I'm going to miss between base and enthusiast is the VLSD, steering wheel controls, and xenons. I know the differential will be easy enough to upgrade eventually. Am I shooting myself in the foot by buying a base?

Basically, right now I have an 03 330Ci. Car makes good power, but I'm tired of the payments. I'm about to hit 100k on it and want to ditch the BMW before I'm out from under warranty. My car before it was a 01 300ZXTT (RIP). I miss having a Z. The community is great.

Anyway, any tips or advice would be great. Anything specific to look at on an 04. An 03 isn't out of the picture, but I've just heard some things about small differences in power.

Still working on it. I just miss Nissans. I get to work on my buddy's S13, buuuuut, it's not the same I'm still hoping to pick up another Z32, as well, for my long-term project car.

The Base does NOT have cruise control, which as I read here, can NOT be added later.
Only you can decide what's important as far as equipment. Some prefer the Base model for it's lighter weight and modding.
