I want to introduce myself. I just bought 2003 white perl Touring 350z 6 spd MT.
Here are my new baby pics:








I love the car so much. I came from corolla. It does make alot of different especially torque. The other diff I notice was the weight. This car is pretty heavy compare to my corolla. =)

Guys..as a new owner of used 03 350z.
Is there anything that I need to be aware of? such as engine, transmission.
any drawbacks for having 03 vs 04.

If I were to have chosen another color, it would have definitely been the pikes peak white. However, if I did get PPW, I would have immediately removed the OEM wheels and installed darker rims like either:

1) Volk Time Attacks (black w/ the red outline)

2) Work Emotion CR KAI (gunmetal)

How many miles? There are a few things:

-Tire feathering
-Weak transmissions(syncros)

Some other minor issues...the worst one would be the transmission grinding in 3rd/5th...

Nihsnek, you got my worry on the spot. You are right. I m still not 100% sure if my tranny is grinding or not. What I noticed was if you hold the shift **** on the 3rd gear, you can feel something moving underneath the trans. Lol...I hope it's ok

The mileage is 42000+. It considers still low for 2003, I think.

i've got time attacks on my PPW, definitely looks good. congratulations on the Z, be safe, get used to the power. by the way, what part of santa clara are you in? i'm always at santa clara university hanging out with my buddy (supra TT), and it would cool to say wassup sometime, always a pleasure to see another white Z around the bay =D.
