Default Pikes peak Nismo #750 2008

Just took delivery of this car and saw the post about the front coil spring spacers. I went and looked and there were six of them on the front coils!!!
I pulled them out and found the ride to be a lot better. I thought the springs were a bit tight over the bumps, this thing rode like a slammed golf cart.
Maybe now I won't get so much over steer in corners.
The front tow hook was left in under the grille also. That is used for tying down the cars to the ship decks, But is supposed to go back into the trunk.
I think what happened is the car went straight to the showroom floor from the car wash attendant without going through pre delivery inspection. I will be checking my tire psi next as they tend to overinflate the tires to 50 psi for shipping reasons.
The car is awesome. I thought I was gonna pass out when I went to the dealer to put money down on it.
As for my Christmas eve, I had a nissan maxima stolen out of my driveway and the drivers window smashed out of the murano and to top it off the punks stole the battery out of my altima. I m getting sick of these crooks in the area stealing our neighbors cars, Now they're messing with mine. Merry Christmas everyone, I hope nobody else has to go through this. Pete

Question

I thought they were making the Nismo edition 350Z only for 2007?

no they are only making a limited amount....all of them were made this year...but as you know after a certain month all remaining productions become 2008 models

so it depends on what month it was made.

The Z is garaged and will always be. The cars production date was October 2007. I don't know if the 750 mark makes it the first 2008 built or not but it would be cool.

Your window sticker will tell you what year the car is.

Welcome and congratZ on the 07 Pete. It would still pay to have a top quality after market alarm installed.

so much vandalism... you might actually save more money moving to another neighborhood, maybe even a upscale one with like 2-3 car garage? idk you in real life tho but just throwing it out there.
i wouldve moved along time ago.

Default Nismo Pics car 750

Here are some pics of the car. The Z is garaged. I am looking into survelance cams for the property. I had three cars parked across the street from my drive, I didn't think this much would happen to my cars. It is the first time I had any crime in the four yrs I live here. I do have 2 garages so 8 of my cars are locked up safe. The maxima was a craiglist buy and was for sale, Stupid effin thieves got it coming to them. This is BS. Picture of the stolen car here too.

Odds are car was a joy ride or drug runner since they left another stolen car at the scene. They wanted the maxima bad enought to swap the battery out of the altima sitting next to it!
If anybody sees the maxima, call police please.

Alright Update! I got the maxima back, It was 3quarts low on oil in just 45 miles. And now I know it has a leak. What these guys did was stole a car from one place drove it to here and stole my car drove it back and ditched it. I got the car back with a missing tire and wheel, a hit to the front and the trunk cd changer ripped off, they left the sunroof open and driver window down, so of course when it rained it filled the car up with water.
bThe police told me it was reported abandoned for a week. Yet it was only gone for three days. I told them there was a few hand signed receipts left in the car with clear elidgeable names on them like they were out Christmas shopping the same day it was stolen, and so they told me it more than likely came from another car prowl and just to submit it to police as evidence. ?? Why didn't they take the evidence when they found the car to start with? After talking to police on the subject 6 times I figured they got better things to do and don't really care about stolen property all that much. I do have to admit they had their hands full at the time. It just happens to be that the officer who showed to my house Christmas eve was the same one who was first on the scene of that Carnation family murder if six people. I spoke to him once after the murders and gave him my condolences for what he had to do as his job Christmas morning. I felt bad for him. It was strange feeling being so close to something that terrible. His only words for the situation was , It was Gruesome. Interesting way to invite the new year. I just hope 2008 will be better. As soon as I can shake off this cough.

Uh, wow.

Not to make light of your troubles with the Max, but talking to that particular officer probably put things in some perspective....
