VERY slowly convinced...
....to buy a Z. =)
I started lurking on this forum darn near 3 years ago... I was in college then and couldn't and couldn't afford something like this.
Besides.. I had to wait for the seventh year of the decade (See Below).
My last 3 cars?
'87 Mazda RX-7 Turbo (Fast with Horrible Gas Mileage)
'97 Honda Del Sol Si (Slow with Fantastic Gas Mileage)
'07 Nissan 350z (Fast with Mediocre Gas Mileage)
the 7th year thing is just a coincidence.... PICS!
Edit: You can see the Sol in the background of the first pic... it has to sleep outside now that the Z has taken over the carport.

Anyone that says that the 07/08 hood is ugly is just a plan hater. Dont pay him any attention he wishes that he had a 07/08 model because if he really could afford it he wouldnt be talking smack. The new hood sucks. If the hump was more distinct and angled, it would look better, but it contrasts too much with the rest of the car's lines. Compared to the shape match puzzle boards, it's like trying to fit a circle into a square piece. It just doesn't flow.

Regardless, there's no tsb for their last minute hood design. Don't be jealous that FI 03-06s are potentially faster(with the limiting factor being traction and not whp), or at the very least, equally as fast, as your 07/08
