Just picked up an 04 Roadster, absolutely love it! I've been looking for one for over a year and finally found one. I wish it was manual, but the 5 speed auto isn't that bad, nice to just be lazy sometimes.
It had these rims on it when I got it... I hated them so I sold them and got some new TSW Sakata's in silver, wrapped some Federal SS595's around them, 245/225 staggered on 18's. I know some of you don't like Federals, but i've had good experience with them, and they are dirt cheap. Quite grippy for how little they cost. I didn't really have the money to get the wheels/tires, but I was desparate.

So far I am loving the convertible... been wanting one for a long while. As long as the rag top is down, its sexy. I've been sticking the tail out at nearly every corner, its so easy and controllable... Better watch myself, don't think the coppers will approve of that, lol. Upgraded from a 06 Tiburon SE... very sexy and reliable car but just doesn't have the performance I wanted all along. Here's a pic of my Tib before I sold it:

Can't wait for autocross to start up! Gonna be loads of fun!

We shall see about the autocross... it is a bit slow to downshift but I'll only be using gears 1 and 2 likely, so it may not be a problem.
Either way i'm really happy I got it! I would of got a manual if I could of found a roadster with it and a color I liked. I only like white and blue, don't like the other colors much.

You'll find quite a few people that will flame you for having an AT, but I love mine. Plus, remember that you bought the car for your self, so it doesn't matter what others' preferences are.
Also, you can add a little style to the stock shifter by swapping it out with a nice aftermarket shifter, like the Momo. https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....omo+shift+****

Thanks.... I wish I could of found an manual, but after over a year of looking and not finding I just couldn't take it anymore. Since I autocross and do other racing, and just screwing around i'd much rather have a manual. Buuuut.... the auto, as far as all autos are this one really isn't that bad, its one of the better ones.
Regardless I got the main things I wanted, open top, rear drive, and power... If I get money to do mods I'll probably try to get more power out of the engine to compensate for the auto. I'm assuming there is a slight bit of drivetrain loss.
