I just bought a 2006 350z 6spd - not even sure what model or motor it has. It doesn't have leather/bose, no VDC, it does, however, has a limited slip(I jacked it up, and both wheels spin - yea!). How I think its an enthusiast, but how can I decipher what motor my car has? 300 or 287hp? I heard that only the auto came with 300hp - is that accurate? thanks

you have enthusiast with leather seat swaped out, and you have rev-up motor (rpm redline till 7K)
Touring has vdc plus heated leater!

 

Check your invoice slip for model of Z 06 it should be in the car on the car somewhere. My 05 had it inside the compartment behind the passenger seat.

06 you have the hi-rev engine 300hp. Double check that in the search here for engine type or 06 engine type. My 05 is a Touring and has the non rev 287hp engine.

 

Welcome and congrats. All the 2006 coupes with manual tran. have the rev-up 300 hp engine. If you have cruise control, you have an enthusiast. If not, it is the base model. (Many put aftermarket LSD on their Base models.)
