Default New to Nissan, New to the Z. (pics)

Hey, the name's Danny. I never thought I'd find myself here! I feel pretty damn lucky!

Heres my 03 Enthusiast.

Im somewhat proud, seeing as I turned 18 only two months ago, and I did this by myself! (my dad cosigned for me, of course! )

17,5, out the door.
31K miles.

I love it. Its a huge upgrade from my mark 3 Supra.

I needed a car that didnt blow its motor every year.

Thanks! I cant wait to learn a lot about these things!

Welcome Danny, hope you enjoy your new ride. I assume lots of people are gossiping because of your age, don't worry about it it's like that for me too, i'm only 18 as well. Shure feels good to accomplish something like that at a young do hehe.

I tought supras were killer strong and tough machines ???

Oh by the way your car looks amazing, happy modding hehe

thanks for the compliments every one!

yeah, I only showed one friend druing spring break, and when i came to school, EVERYONE was "Danny, where's your new Z!?" I had people coming up to me that I didnt even know tell me "Danny, thats a SICK car" lol.

and btw, I believe you're thinking about the MK4 Supra with the 2J engine. That one is a train. But I had the MK3 Supra, the generation before it. And those things ate headgaskets and barfed connecting rods left and right.

But hey differnece is here in Aus we pay $35,000 + for a zed worst part is the conversion rate from American to Aus dollar now is like 94c AUS to $1 US which means i payed more then double for my car then u did lol.

Yeah thats the way its gonna be for a while lol, until everyone gets settled to the idea that you indeed worked and bought the car. Problly some people wont beleive you paid for the car either but who cares., you know what you did to get it so enjoy it man, thats i'm doing anyways.

I get it about that mk3 supra lol. Had it mixed up with the mk4 style there. The one you had was the 7mgt or something, my friend has one and claims he's gonna put a 2jz and rape me, but I don't think it will happen :P

Looks good, congrats. Remember slow and steady wins the race no need to hear about you on the news. Good luck and make sure you post.

Welcome.

The Z probably caught a drying towel and got ripped off. This is common.

Thanks for the pics. Superb! Welcome and congrats. Be careful out there and enjoy...not like some whose enjoyment is short lived.

Off Topic - I had a MKIII sitting in my garage; decided to sell it to free up some cash for the Z. POS blew up and caught fire on the way home with the new owner. They decided to keep it anyway. They were probably smart, claimed it on insurance, and got way more than I sold it for. I don't miss that WHALE for one minute.

Nice looking car. That's really a neat color.
