Don't Mind the username..

I finally broke down and bought a Z. On a whim basicly cause my 03 protege finally threw a rod...

Anyways. I found the best dealers are the unpriced ones on the internet.I found a local dealership on a thursday afternoon that had a 05 350z enthusiast with 8000mi without a list price. I called and they were asking 19500. The guy brought it to my work, I drove it, 3 days later I purchased it for 16,400.

When I went to insure it and found the original window sticker I found out it was a performance Model..Althought I still have no idea what the diff between the perf and the enthusiast is.

Either way im very happy with my new car besides a few minor glitches. But I found it extremely rare to find a mint 05 that was put into service june of 2006 and still only has under 10,000mi!

probably sounds stupid but... Is VDC turned on and off or is it just controled by the car? Cause I usually keep that TCS crap off....

Also...I swear my car only has 17's....

2005 Performance came with 18" rims. If they are 17"s, someone may have had after market wheels on them and then they or the dealer kept them and put 17s back on instead of 18s. I bought an extra set that were only 17s for my snow tires. If the button on the lower dash says TC and not VDC, then I would think the car is an Enthusiast. That and the wheels are the only difference between models.

Anyway, welcome and congrats on the beautiful car. If the

Both the VDC & the TCS are automatically set to "ON" every time you start
your beast. You turn it off if you want to, but have to do it each time you
hop on your ride.

yeah i just looked its definately VDC. It still had the original window sticker shoved in the glovebox and it matches the vin on the engine and doors. Its definately a performance.
