Talking Lovin my new Z

hey everyone, i just bought an 04 350z in daytona blue a week ago. So far I love it, my old car is a nx2000 thats pretty done up. I am very impressed with this car all around and have big plans for it. Only prob is when i start it, usually when the motor is cold, i get a belt squel, its kinda annoying but goes away usually after a few seconds. All the belts are in good shape, and i did spray some belt dressing on there, no dice. What ya guys think it may be? Thanks in advance and hello everybody!

Welcome. my buddy had a japanese jelly bean (nx2000) I love em! It's like Nissan's CRX!!!! To answer your question I'd have to ask a question. How was the maintenance? Was it owned by a youngin' or an older gent? also how many miles on the Z? Might just be time to swap belts... while your add it pick up some pully's You should also post up pics of the new Z!!!! and finally check out the top 100 questions thread. I'm sure it'll help with a lot of questions you probably have.

Ni$mo350 pretty much covered it. Explore the search function using your key word in thread titles only to begin with. Otherwise you'll spend hours reading without finding a possible answer. If the belt spray didn't work, I'd research it then take it to the dealer. It shouldn't squeel.

Welcome and enjoy the car.

Congrats on the Z. I used to have an '04 Daytona Blue and I loved that color but decided to sell it last year. Now I'm waiting for my '08 San Marino Blue Enthusiast! Welcome to the Z family.
