Default Right car for me?

Im a junior in high school this would be my first car.. well sorta i drove my dad's a4 mt for a bit o time. Im familiar with MT and have respected/obsessed this car for a while now. I am using it to drive around town movies mall friends house, cruising and some fast driving here and there. Maybe some track runs to get my speed fix. I love the look of the car i love the interior and the stock specs are very respectable. SO! what do you guys think?

I would say no too.

My cousin's father bought him an IROC Z-28 back in like '86 when he was in high school. He wrecked it once while speeding and then proceeded to lose his license due to points.

If you get it, be careful.

oh if you think ill wreck it then your wrong. I have to pay for 3/4 of it myself and pay full gas and insurance and i have a job so I would not even take the chance of crashing it in anyway. Im very responsible about this, plus im an amazing driver.

+1, it dont matter how much of it you paid.

not every kid is the same.

(btw tho, if you have to ask other kids on the internet for advice about your own life... maybe the Z is too much for you)

my suggestion would be never to ask a question about your life on the internet.

Step 1. let your dad buy it for you
Step 2. Fall into peer pressure ie: " Hit the gas man come on...it will be cool, you'll go super fast...like all F and F fast I sware.
Step 3. Get it vandilized at school and post of the forums about the immature kids that mess up a nice car cause they are jealous.
Step 4. and some more

If your parents are getting it in their name and paying the down payment just do it...I would.

Sh*t...Im 23 now and when I go around turns at 35mph+ I still have trouble keeping 100% control...In rain, judging how much to give it between 20-30mph..my traction control has saved me numberous times.

GL if you do it.

yea I see what you are saying
Eh, you just have to search around and read about the different years and problems they face.
like the 06 has oil consumption problems.
the old Z's has tire problems or something, idk.
07 has a recall on the master slave drive I think.
etc, etc.

But... Also, remember this is the internet. Some of these people dont even own the 350z, and some that do, they only know how to start it up and head to the gas station and back home. I wouldnt ask just any internet person for much advice that could affect me in real life... (aka, some of these people are messed up in the head)

haha I wish he would buy it for me it's not like he doesnt have the money he just wants me to get a taste of working for my own things. And as for the whole jealousy thing, well they would go after the g-wagon, porsche 911, SL55, or any other fancy car in the lot before they go after mine. And step 2 is just hilarious I don't even know how to respond to that. LMAO FandF fast? haha
