Finally picked up my Z. Thanks all for helping me decide to go with VLSD. Picked up my '08 Black on black Touring today.

Yeah, i don't know what the dealer used for detailing but the car was flawless when i picked it up. Not a swirl mark in sight.

 

Id hope not.. its brand new.

 

You'd be surprised. A friend of mine just picked up an Audi A6. Brand spanking new. It looks like it was washed with something which was previously dropped on the ground a few times. Horrible swirls.

Anyway, i put about 250 miles (variable RPM) on the car today. I don't know if it is the 2 doors, 2 seats or everything together but the car feels different from any car i owned before. In fact, i don't know how to say it but... i like it more than my Evo IX MR (which i sold last fall). Something about the Z that just feels very right.

 

^ I know what you mean. I just passed 5k miles within the past month and a half.

 

Really? I think the Z looks 10x better than an EVO, but I want a turbo car so bad... hopefully soon I have the best of both worlds and turbo my Z this summer.

I remember when I first got mine home. I pulled into the garage and spent the whole night putting on zaino. After 5 coats, with cs, that is a shine.
