Default New '07 Z owner

Picked up an automatic '07 touring last week, and finally got around to taking some pix. (new camera too so I'm not sure what settings to use, etc. I'll post better pics later!)

Loving it so far, previous owner had the rear tail lights blacked out and it has nismo intake and exhaust. I really like the way it sounds when I get on it.

I plan on modding it a bit:

- Removing badges (except for the front one, since it's "indented" into the hood)
- Shorter antenna (s2k?)
- New wheels / Tires (Looking for sweet all black wheels, I've seen some around)
- Coilovers (Need to research which kind, any suggestions?)
- Clear front reflectors or possibly just blacking them out

So yeah looking to make it all black / shiny. Giving it a bath this weekend.

looks nice

- I would only suggest getting coilovers if you have the intent of drifting, autox or looking for an extreme drop. Basic lowering springs will do you fine. Save for the wheels.

Congrats on the purchase!
Looks great.

Here are the clear sides youre looking for: http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...de=99995-Z3306

As for s2k antennas, look around in the classifieds. people sell them all the time.

CongratZ on your purchase!

Re. the antenna, I bought mine at the Acura dealer for about $6 or $7. It's for an RDX. I've not noticed any loss in quality or reception.

Also, I've heard the antenna from the 2008 Dodge Chargers and Avengers work also.

I do think it would be fun to go to the track. However the main thing about coilovers that I liked was the idea of being able to adjust dampening electronically, and even being able to adjust ride height if I get sick of a certain setup.

I also uploaded better + new pics to the first post! They make me want to get wheels. and painted brake calipers.

congrats man and good luck. i have a black 07 as well, its hard to keep it clean, but so worth it.

as for your questions, i can add some input.........the s2k antenna is nice, easy, cheap and looks way better than the stocker.

as for your front markers, black them out, i did.......

its easy to do and looks great on black. let me know if you need details on it. i also blacked out the rear signals, but they are still functional.........

first off welcome and congrats. I have a Black Z myself and i can tell you that it is hard to maintain, which im pretty sure you know already. But from just looking at your pics, the previous owner did not maintain the paint very well. I see a lot of hazing on the passenger door(especially) and front bumper. When you do plan on washing it this weekend, you might wanna think about doing a full detail. Claybar, polish, etc. Just my opininon. Again congrats.
