Yes i know they are worth more but for the same car. I was thinking the exact same thing. The "Tire feathering" issues would have probably been resolved by now that was the main problem for the 03 over the 04 right?

It's down to keeping a eye on the wear and getting regular or frequent (if you're super fussy like me) alignments. Mine is a 2004, I've not had issues with inner shoulder wear, but a few of friends with 2003 - 2005 have, mostly because lack of alignments.
