Should I...?
Hi,
I am a previous S2000 owner, and a few months ago I got hit and run by a drunk driver. The damage assessment came out to be: totaled... The check from my insurance co. just came in, and I was wondering if there were any Z owners that used to have an s2k. How do you like the move? I'm in the market for a used Z, and can't seem to find any better deals in terms of power and price. -Also I keep reading about how people get 22~23 mpg city by taking it slow and keeping off the throttle. Is this true?
btw: I'm 19.. flame on

I was either going to get an S2K or this Z. I decided on this Z because I found an Auto Z with low miles and at a good price. 22-23MPG is attainable if you don't drive it hard.
Most of the people here will probably tell you to get the Z to be honest.

My friend had an S2k, then got a Z, then switched back to an S2k. I think S2k is more of a drivers car and I think he said he liked the way it handled better. I personally think the Z looks better and it does make a lot more power.
Wow that was fast.
Hate to do this to you guys, but in your shoes would you go for the slightly more expensive 04 (which should have less problems), or for the cheaper 03. My budget is around 18k, and the 04 is just barely in that range. I know you guys aren't financial advisers or anything, but your input will help. Thanks for the replies.
h0pes - I gotta agree with you there, the torque should save my *** since this car will be a dd.

I've seen others say '04 is better than '03 since '03 was the first year. First year bugs and all that. I don't know the specifics but I think you can search around and find more info.
