20" rims too big? tell me what you think
i've had both 19's and 20,s i prefer the 20's for looks. in a straight line the 20's slow you down just a tad but on a road course it will slow you down significantly. This is why you keep your stock 17,s i don't see the big deal.

Some of you guys seem offended that some of us choose to place 20's on a Z...the car is still the same car. If you prefer 19's...so be it. Cheers to you. It's one inch. I personally feel performance is something that's highly overrated. So what if I get to my destination a couple of seconds slower. I did it in style...lol
I definitely notice that people on this site seem to feel their opinions on how a Z should look is written stone and it's blasphemy if you go against it.

You guys are making it seem like the Z is a high performance super car and slapping 20's makes a huge difference. The Z is nothing compared to the cars we have nowadays straight out of the factory with 400hp. Unless you are FI I don't consider the Z to be fast with it's measly 280 to 300 hp. Of course if you have a smaller lighter wheel you will perform better but stop making it seem like you will lose seconds of a 1/4 run or a circuit lap. As I posted before and Nexx pointed out with the right setup and offset a set of 20's can look good but def NOT chrome IMO.
