Hello everybody I wasnt really sure where to post since I dont have a Z yet, but I wanted to join the forum and gain knowledge on this car before I get it. I currently own a turbo'ed spec v (sentra). Its fun to drive but Im looking for rear wheel drive goodness after attending a local drift event and since I love the way a Z looks and has a great aftermarket, for me, its the way to go. Im looking forward to asking noob questions and getting reprimanded and flamed, but hey everyone is new at some point. Thanks guys, see you in the forums!

Oh yeah. Im not just gonna come in here and ask questions like "Where can I get a cold air at?" or "How much boost can I run on a stock motor?". I dont like to feel like a dumba** so Im definately gonna read up before I start to ask any questions I may have.

 

If you can afford a 07-08Z with the HR motor, than thats the way to go. But keep your eyes out, you would be suprised how cheap you can find a Z out there. I paid 22K for a 06Z with 30K miles., Bone stock, did i mention its a Touring

See this is why I joined the forum, I like to hear things like that. I just read the post about someones z getting keyed, and everyone else chimed in and said the same thing. That blows donkey wiener. I never knew the Z was hated on so much. I dont have to worry about that now because I own a slow pos sentra lol.

 

There is always gonna be a hater out there to hate on your car, cuz he cant afford the pride and joy that you have. This is exactly why i dont hang out with every person i meet. In any case. When i was looking for a Z for myself, i looke online a lot, and i have found alot of nice ones out there, modded and stock. I just got lucky that i got a bone stock one, very well taken care of. Wow, nice pics. I like the stock wheels of the later ones waaayy better than the previous. When I get one its gonna be stock so I can do all the modding. Its like a drug for me, modding cars.......

 

I found auto trader to be very helpful. I looked on that website several times a day for about 3 to 4 months before i found my baby. I did pass up some good deals before i got this one. If you register on their site u can track cars that you save. With these gas prices being so outrageous u can use that to your advantage cause they seem to sit on the lot for 4 to 6 weeks and they are being sold for under book. I picked up a 04 touring silver 6speed fully loaded with vdc, leather and bose with only 24000 miles for only 19 grand. it books for 24000 according to kbb. Good luck on your search and welcome
