Default got my Z about a week ago..

.. and I am loving it. My first car was a 68' Camaro, that I recently gave back to my father. I was tempted into the car market but the hype surrounding the 2010 Camaro coming out early next year. I wanted a rear wheel drive 2 door around 300hp, but I wanted to keep it under 20k. I heard rumors of the price, and I'm not too keen on buying american cars, so I started to research alternatives.

I had also loved the look of the Z - such a head turning car I test drove an evo that was out of my price range, a wrx, a rx8, a s2k (ugly!), and an rsx type s. Then I test drove about 5 other Z's before I found the one I wanted.

I had to drive about 90 miles out but it was worth while. I got a 2004 enthusiast trim with 40k miles, in le mans sunset, pretty flawless condition, for about 17.8k (pre gap).

Very happy to have it! So far, I've tinted the windows (not too dark), and have the following plans for it as the money rolls in:

*adding this spoiler or possibly the overly used nismo one if the price is right: http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/50-1844

*smoking the tail lights, blinkers and headlighs to match the moderate tint

*new wheels, I want some black ones.. I like the look of the stock ones for sure, and considered painting them black, but I don't trust my craftmanship to come out properly. I'll probably keep them for snow wheels

that's it really.. I am pretty happy with a stock ride. I am considering getting minor stuff down in the future such as CAI/exhaust, but have yet to hear one that sounds burley yet not too loud.. I feel like a lot of the exhaust systems sound "ricey" and not what I am looking for :/

for sure.. I settled on the enthusiast trim and drove 90 miles out when I could have gotten the grand touring about 2 miles out, all for that color! damn glad I did too. the gt would have been silver.. how boring!

I feel like I am back in my 68 Camaro - everyone checks the car out and if I stop anywhere (gas stations/stores etc..) I get questions and compliments on it.. don't think that will ever get old

I bet you've already found out how stunning the LMS is in bright sunshine! It's like driving a beam of sunshine.

yeah man for sure

here are my late pictures! just two of the many..

also, an update to the mods: already tinted the windows..

*no longer smoking anything

*black wheels, undecided on which

*nismo spoiler, paint matched

*magnaflow catback exhaust, cheap and has the sound I desire

*k&n drop in filter, not enough gains in the CAIs..

*5/16" plenum spacer

that's about it really :]
