Default Brand new here..

Hello everyone. I'm new here. My new 2008 Blk Z arrived at my front door yesterday. I'm so damn excited. I wanted to drive it today but the damn hurricane has brought torrential rain to VA. anyways, this is my first japanese/2 seater car. ive been driving a 98' blk M3 for the past 10 yrs. i've put 230K miles on it and its beginning to die. anyways, i fell in love with this car when i saw it in the show room. i sat inside...and was instantly sold. of course i didnt tell the dealer that. i've never driven a japanese car before...so it is kinda different. the materials inside are a bit cheap...but oh well. i still like the car. i'll post some pix soon......after thehurrican passes.

thnx!

dont say japanese materials are cheap its not like you bought a luxury car. jesus.... at least you love the car and thats what matters. but please dont say the materials are cheap when you could of gotten something that had better materials such as a infiniti G instead of the Z. im not here to argue with you, just pointing that out.

wow 230k on an M3 you must of maintained it really well. congrats on the purchase and do you plan on keeping this car for that long? a decade!

I never really maintained it, just the regular oil changes, changed transmission fluid twice, changed the alternator, new exhaust(stock one rusted )...now the starter is dead, all 4 shocks are gone, dash lights are out, and other suspension problems. I plan on driving the Z til it dies or after 7 yrs, whichever comes first.

CongratZ on the 2008. Leave her all tucked up and safe until the hurricane goes.

yeah..the stork was named passport nissan. when i went to buy the car...it didnt have its inspection stickers yet. so they said they would get it inspected first thing in the morning and bring the car to my house. nothing like having a flat bed truck deliver your car to your house.
