Picked up my 350z this past weekend. It is a black 2007 touring model with the full package. Had to drive 270 miles from the dealer to get home, so I broke her in on the way.

I'm moving into the 350z from a 1991 MR2 turbo, and I wouldn't have enjoyed the two without the mr2oc. Glad to have found this forum!

Oh........ and what are your plans for the Z?

 

I don't actually have many pictures left of the MR2 since a hdd crash robbed me of a few year's worth of photos... The only photos I can find right now aren't very pretty, but have a fun story.


So the butterfly valve on the intake manifold bounced a screw loose, which then bounced its way through a cylinder. This was the first time I had pulled out the engine, and it was pretty mucked up. I got the car for cheap, and I definitely got what I paid for...











The mr2 ended up being too problematic; I decided to forgo dumping more money into it and instead try out something different! The mr2 is taking up a parking spot still though, I think I'm going to throw a few more thousand at it and then sell it off.



As for modding the Z... Popcharger and blackout wheels and I'm done. Not sure really, I don't have any big plans for the Z yet.

 

Welcome aboard, I'm a noob also with 08 Base, and stock. I still have my MR-2, looking to sell it so I an start up my Z.

Sorry to hear about the problems with your MR-2, I'm lucky, I live an hours away from ATSracing, and they handle all my MR-2 needs. My MR-2 just came home from regular maintence, retune, and finished off my tranny system, with new clutch pedal components.

I also owned a 91 mr2, it was definately my favorite car, last year i picked up my 03 z performance

 

Lol, you'll get used to that. Black is a bit more labour intensive to keep looking sexy, but worth it.
