Default just upgraded to a nismo

hey guys, gals. This is my third z, my first being a 91tt, second an 06t, and now, an 08 nismo.
All three IMO, are totally different, and fun in their own way, cars to drive. There are many threads discussing the differences, and value, of the later models. This is my 2 cents.

91tt- This was my first sports car, bought it used, off a friend, and was hooked the first time I drove it. I can understand Why Z owners decide to go FI, with the turbos spooled, this car felt like an animal, begging for more and scary at times. The seats were more comfortable than my newer z's, But the car had all sorts of issues, (no a/c, tire feathering, injectors clogging, and for anyone who has owned one, very expensive to fix. (a money pit) So I moved onto a 06.

06mt ss touring- After doing research and deciding on the options I wanted, I ended up driving over 200 miles to pick her up. Aside from it being new, felt more well balanced through the power curve than my previous z. With all the bells and whistle's, this is by far the best bang for my buck. Leather, bose, heated seats, on a true sports car, for 31k out the door! Bargain for a sports car. My 300tt sold new got 35k back in 91.

The only reason I do not have it today is because of the oil consumption problem I had. My car would burn over a quart every 1k, And I did not want to go through the hassel with an engine swap that did not guarantee fixing the problem. So now my impression of my new car.

08 nismo. Got a good deal, there were four on the lot, and they were dying to get rid of it. (plus my friend works there). So, with my oil consumption problem hopefully cured, my first impression. The radio sucks ballllls! I mean, come on. The top coupe package and they put a minivan system in it. Horrible, and unacceptable! The bose does'nt weigh 100lbs more than the stock system, does it? Seats are nice, not as nice as leather but I understand the cloth seats in the nismo. And lastly, coffee is a no no, in this car. I hit a bump and my filling came loose. But... I also understand it being what i paid for
Now onto the good....... The car is so tight and leans into turns better than my touring did. Also,IMO, pics do not do this car justice. It is a beauty in person. I love the look of the nismo kit. The hr feels a little smoother and peppier than the vq. The brembros are far superior to stock. The exhaust has a noticable growl to it, even though I know it is not a true nismo exhaust. With that said, I have truelly been happy with all my z's, each one being a different driving experience.

LOL get used to cleaning her up...it's about to become an obsession!
Keeping the Nismo clean and shiny is a top priority.
