sucks to have to wait, but its worth it, don't ruin your investment by being "hard-headed" good luck

Correct. It would based on Continental United States miles not Guam miles.

I set my rev meter to 4000 RPM but I usually shift around 3000 RPM. Right now I have almost 900 miles. My plan is to take it easy until next spring. There's no point of going fast once it gets cold and wet (Northeast) anyway.

I ran mine to 7000rpms on short spurts during the break-in period, just turned 11,000 and runs like a champ. I had many new cars, and have always tested its performance for short durations during it's break-in!!!

Yes, it will be fine if you go over 4000 rpms in short spurts. Just don't make a habit of it.
