Default Just gots a 350z!

>.>............<.< HELL YEA just got my new 350z last sat, im stocked! at first i wasent i was more frustrated, and heres why. my old car was a 00 mitsu elipse gt triptonic. My new 06 350z 300hp six speed manual tranny, last time i drove stick was when i was 8 in a vw bus van X_X and my dad was yelling at me for stalling everytime. I couldnt drive my car for two days, and had to see my dad enjoy it ......After that i was like **** that hopped in my car. 3 stalls and half a tank later i was ripping the streets and hugging corners. I spent a half a tank cuz i spent most of the time on a ramp trying to get the uphills after a complete stop. Its been about 4 days and im lovin this car. It make4s a dent on my monthly budget, but **** it, i dont need to go to a club anymore to pick up a girl

congradulations on your new purchase. I traded in a 91 300zxtt and upgraded to a 06 350mt, just like yours. Unfortunately I had to trade it in because of oil consumption problems that are commonplace, with the rev up, which you have. Not all 06's have had the oc problem, just some. Now that you are a member of the forum, try seaching the threads to learn more about this issue. I dont mean to worry you as your car is probably fine, but it is something you should be made aware of. Good luck and congrats on the new ride.

For the 1st few weeks/months, do your oil level checks 2-3 times a week; afterwards,
IF you don't notice the abnormality steelylock3 warned you about, you should check
your oil level AT LEAST once a week, just in case. CONGRATS!
