Whats up everyone, my name is Jason and I currently do not own a Z. Im sure all of you can figure from my username (so creative huh) that I have an 04 E-blue Srt4. I am researching on the 350Z, as im interested in possibly making the switch in the near future. I've always like them, and have went through this phase a few times (the price of mods have always set me back on fully going for it), but im really wanting a change. All of my "car enthusiast friends" have srt4s, and after having mine for nearly 3 yrs you can understand my urge for change. Some of the problems I've had with my srt fuel this aswell. I will be looking into the 04-05 model, prob a base and has to be 6mt. Might go for a White or Black one. Well, sorry for such the long intro. Be safe and enjoy your Z's!

haha. I bet after the mod costs for a neon you are hesitant to make the swap - the Z isn't as cheap to fix up : ] Go drive one, see if you like it!

 

Thanks for the welcome. Yes, the mods for the srt are quite a bit cheaper than the Z. Its not so much that im concerned for pure speed, though I would like to go the TT route if I were to get one. The price to go TT (safely) always made me shy away from it. Then on the other hand I love the styling, not alot comes close to a lowered Z with a nice set of wheels, look very good. Definately a far cry from the ole neon. If I were to get one, first mods would be a Bassani Exhaust, Coilovers, Wheels, then save for FI. I will continue to read and research, and save some $. Its between a 350Z and an Evo, after driving 2 Evos I know I like them (very nice cars), I just need to drive a Z.

I have a 2008 Magnetic Black Touring Coupe with everything Navi etc just purchased in August its awesome, next best thing is my Low Rider 2004.

Was reading on this site lots of good stuff just had to comment on the most get a Ticket point etc.

Just a few days ago was driving on a stretch of road in the County that is for the most part is straight for 5 miles and its two lanes with 2 miles of it for passing. Its called the East West Hwy well there was line like Train of 5 cars doing 45 mph. Im in the rear so hey I think it’s during the day noon time weekday. So I pass all 5 now realize you can see on this stretch for 2 miles or more line of site and there is no streets that have access etc. So dumb yes but not stupid. Ok it was quick I get around all 5 just check Speedo 120mph I go right to speed limit 55 after passing hey I’m 49 what can I say. Ok so approximately 3 miles later I see blue lights on an unmarked in my rear view mirror. I’m like this is not good. Ok he says you know what you did right as in you cannot pass that many cars at a clip etc. What could I say you’re right, he went did the license / registration check came back said look its just a verbal. I just wanted to see who was driving and by the way nice car take care. So what did I do well go purchase some lottery Tickets of course. But seriously I was very lucky never again pass that many cars.
