Default New member- Just Introducing myself

Hey guys,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I briefly owned an 03 touring a couple years ago and sold it because I wanted something with more room. My last job was an internet sales manager for a Nissan Dealer in Northern California so Ive always been around them and worked with them.

I have a few family members that have owned Z's also, my brother owned an 04 Z with some mods on it and my cousin owns a supercharged 03 (might even be a member lol)

Always had respect for the Z's and figured Id join here to learn some more about them. Im currently driving an RX8 which I love, plan on keeping it for a while. I attached pics for the hell of it.

Welcome to Z land! Nice RX8! Love the color! I like RX8's and came very close to buying one, but engine horsepower (lack there of) and quirky engine issues (oil consumption, start-up etc. etc) moved me to buy my '07 350Z Redline Enthusiast. Never questioned my choice 'cause the Z is the whole package - nearly same handling - definately better horsepower - better style (IMHO) and more rare where I live.

I do like the look of the new 370Z, I do not see a Z in my 'near future' but I can definately see myself owning a Z again. The Z line has always intrigued me, especially the 300ZX Twin turbos, always thought those cars were incredible. For now, I'm just a non Z owner enthusiast I guess

hey welcome man. I test drove an rx8 when I was looking for a new ride and definitely loved the interior and the exterior styling, and the overall "ride quality" as far as smoothness went, but I felt the power was a little lacking. I am pretty sure my v6 accord had more *****. I also didn't like the fact that it's hard to find a mechanic that can work on rotary engines well, or that the gas mileage was doo doo for how little the engine was.

beautiful looking car though. fell in love with the Z instantly during the first test drive, and again after test driving a few others at various dealers.. :]

yea, its really the lack of torque more than anything that makes the car feel slow. Another downside of an RX8 is theyre already near maxed out with power unless you go FI. With every single bolt on available, youd be lucky to net 20whp from it.
