New Member Rachael with her Roadster
Good afternoon!
I recently picked up my Z but have not really had much time to post. Stock for the time being. It's a touring model, 6 spd., factory navigation, heated seats, 15,000 miles for $23,900, hopefully not too bad of a deal. It's also got new tires

My husband also has a Z although in hard top form, it's an 06 touring, 6spd, heated seats, 8000 miles and he picked his up for $21,000. He's already started modifying his and I would catch up but I have this little guy that takes most of my $$$

Oh yes, sorry it is an 06 and $23,900 is what I paid for everything.
I thought it was a pretty good deal considering how much the car cost new and not being all that educated on the used pricing for Z's. I am better versed in older car values! I am glad to hear that I did not get screwed

Welcome. Very nice mini. We have meets in Columbus all the time. Check out the regional forums. Hope to see you guys there next summer. It would even be cool if you brought the Mini, there's 2 up in Mansfield where I grew up. Cool little cars.
Welcome to the forum Rachael. Great to see a 2 Z family, one a cute little Mini. Do you race or rally the Min?
Quite a few of we girls here now. You can also check in at zchickz.com, forum run by women who love their Zeds.
Lol, just noticed your username. Class.

Well I hate to disappoint but I am not about to put some skirt on that is too short and lean all on my Z with all my parts hanging out smearing up my paint!!!
Haha, that is too funny because you are right, there are forums where that
seems to be the only interest rather than the cars themselves.
I have yet to autocross the Mini, I can't seem to get the courage up, I am scared to break her! She is set up well for it however with a fully adjustable suspension, larger motor etc. But she's 40 some years old...so I dunno know.
We did have a modified Z06 that I autocrossed a few times and really enjoyed it until I realized how much time and money I was throwing into it, I am torn. I've thought about the Z but I am not sure I would feel comfortable out there in a convertible??
I think that the car would do great, I am very happy with the performance and don't regret my decision to buy it. Although we are currently searching for a beater to drive in the winter so it's cost me more than the inital purchase. I think that I got a good price because the dealer had the car for sometime and had no interest, plus being winter and a convertible and Ohio current economy worked in my favor.
I'll check out the site that you recommended, thanks for letting me know about it, oh and my user name is also my plate. I've had it for 11 years as a result of a job that I hated (obviously) back in college.
