brand new Z, does stalling many times damage engine?
you just need some one to show you how to do it the correct way.
i have shown at least 3 of my friends that want to buy a Mt car and within 30 to 40min they are driving around the city with no stalls.
a few honks from people cuz taking a little longer to start accelerating from 0 but it is all good.

hey guys i just done 400 kms on the car.. im guessing its still in 'break-in' period. today i took it up to 120km in 6th gear.. i was wondering if this would damage the 'breaking in' of the car?
i have stayed under 3k revs.. so driving at 120kmph will not damage the break-in so long as im not reving over 3k ??

I think that we should throw him in a z with a act street light cluch and a act 6 puck sprung hub clutch and let him learn on that. If you can work that you will never have an issue with any other cluch.
For steep hill starts I strongly recommend using the ebrake method. That will definitly reduce wear on your clutch.
Also someone mentioned seat position. I have to keep my seat in one position. If I start moving it back and forth, up and down, my muscle memory gets all screwed up and I start jerking the car
It took me a few months to get the car to drive smooth, let alone good hill starts. Even a year later I have days were I jerk the car.

6 months for me. I was 23 when I got the Z. Before that I learned atx when I started driving at 16. Now I can drive it smoothly. I remember taking out a girl when I was still somewhat new and I was really jerky when I shifted. Now totally different. Driving a manual becomes second nature and as corny as it may sound, part of the car. AND FUN!!! 
dont worry i stall plenty of time, the Z was mine first manual car too
but trust me if you can master driving manual in a Z then you pretty much can drive any manual car, i drove my friends s2000, and it was so much easier than my car
i always thought i was a bad stick shift driver, until i drove my friends s2000 lol

Haha! I stalled it so many times I'm suprised my dad kept letting me learn on it. I stalled it 4 times before I even got it out of the driveway the first time driving it
. My second driving experience with it I was in 5th doing about 50-55mph and was getting ready to make a right hand turn and my dad wanted me to practice downshifting so I attempted to throw it in fourth, but I screwed up and ended up putting it in 2nd
!!! LOL, the RPMs skyrocketed and you could hear the engine go WHOOOOOOSHHHHH loud as hell!!! After that I just had to get used to the shifter... when trying to get into 4th Id always accidently throw it back in 2nd. Now I can drive it without experiencing any of the problems I mentioned above, but it's still a much different car than any other manual transmission car Ive ever drove.

You should try to test drive an S2000, compared to the Viper you will feel like a driving god.... Feels like your flying when the Tach is reading 9000
... but then you realize you just got overtake by a minivan
