its a beautiful car with outstanding power..but...don't get me wrong, I think the wing needs to go. It looks like its taller than the roof of the car is. Just my .02 cents. Car looks great otherwise!!

thanks nismomike I don't mind.from the side,it does look a lot taller but it is the apr 300 wing, the wing itself is adjustable and in that pic the wing (APR) is actually at a 45 degree slant towards the hatch it scoops the wind coming off the roof and pushes it up at a 45 degrees it really does work I have taken it to Brainerd international raceway and at 120 and over it feels like someone just pressed down with there finger like a match box car.but it is big and when I do occasionally drive on the streets to a local meet spot called porkey's but people do comment most don't like it but I don't get offended as they do like the car in general.

I don't care if that wing holds your car down at 120, hell I don't care if that wing holds your car down at 55, IT NEEDS TO GO! It's HIDEOUS. The rest of the car is gorgeous (Except for the louvers on your hood ).

I know, but I really like it the nice police officers and state troopers all mention that it is against the law to tint your windshield. The headlights are HID and the laminx is so light you don't really notice at night with the lights on. I have not got a ticket for it yet(knock on wood) well i can only drive it for 5-6 months out the year.I like to think of the tint being yellow like shooting/hunting glasses,I am hunting girls.I always refur to that 7point buck that got away.

O/K that your opinion, but it stays my car,my rules.I do agree with you however on the hood I bought it early 08 and 3-months of a Minnesota summer if you would call it a summer? has slight yellowing.I have talked to Darren at Intense power and ordered a 03-06 top secret cf hood,it should arive in about 4weeks. I was going to ask if you wanted the hood for dirt cheep get it,dirt cheep.

No, I don't want your hood. Regardless, your car is sexy as hell and I'd kill three pigeons and possibly a duck to be near your car but that will never happen because pigeons and ducks don't survive where I live.

Can you have a different wing when your not racing? I understand, I guess, the functional value but, man, from a form viewpoint, it is butt fugly.

Thanks, but no love on the apr wing,O-well I guess I could change the mounts. APR does offer different sizes. The super bee to the wrx sti all excel on a track with a wing, but this car dose see a little street time and the wing is useless.my z doesn't 0-100mph very well first gear is pretty much gone(just 2 get her rolling)and in second and third gear I have to put the clutch in at 5000rpm's because she gets to squirrely.(BF-g1's 275)it is not my daily driver I bought her at just over 5,000 miles and now 12,000 miles on body and 4,000 on everything else. here's my 0-100 car.....

Even the Rat is talking smack! For my taste I am not a fan of the wing or the yellow tint but the rest of it looks great. Welcome to the forum!

Some nice cars you got there! Hell if the wing is functional then keep it every little bit counts.

Welcome to the forum. Pity you didn't find us a bit sooner, after 2 years of ownership. That's some impressive output.

With regards to the wing, don't mind the naysayers. A few of my mates have fully kitted out racecar 350's pushing some "interesting power", one doesn't have a spoiler or wing at the back and he suffers a bit for it, loosing down force, needless to say that's the next thing on his list.

Keep on with what you are doing.
