Hi Im joey ,
I'm located in the bay area (san jose). I bought my 350z back in july 2008 and it was completely stock except for the rims. I've been browsing through the forums for awhile but never introduced myself. So anyways, as of today, the bodyshop has finished installing my body kit and nismo intake. so checkzz it out. Sorry for the low quality and crappy pictures.

BEFORE

AFTER

Cheers

Why can you see the rivets on the side skirts. I don't think they installed them correctly. Next the kit looks good. Last but not least you put a kit on the car but it sits like a truck please lower it. I'm sure you will get around to these aspects just giving you some good criticism. I think that i looks good though.

Almaden upholstery body shop. they're not sideskirts but rocker panels. As for the rivets I'm going to make him fix it. Lowering the car, is something I'm going to do in the future (need the funds to pay for the springs and install).

technically, they are aftermarket rocker moldings aka sideskirts.
they are supposed to be mounted to the rocker panel by hidden clips & bolts not riveted from the outside.

i am surprised that you did not say anything to the shop when you picked it up the car.

what i always find interesting are people who say suspension and nicer rims are expensive yet have the money to buy body kits and pay "body shops" to paint and install.

so what happens when you cut, i mean buy springs and you side skirts are dragging against the ground?

I think I like your car better in the before pictures. Not a "kit" guy but if you're happy I'm happy

Lol, I guess i was too excited to see my car after a whole week and a 1/2 and not noticing the rivets until i got home (and like i said the car will be making a trip to the shop this weekend). Well I'm not going to "cut" or lower the car by myself. I'm going to take it to the shop and let them do the work.

Welcome to the forum. Will look great once the rivets are sorted. If you have any nasty speed bumps near your house or where you often go, think about lowering carefully. Quite a few of my friends have lowered there's only to have to reverse what was done due to not being able to get over speed bumps and into and out of driveways. Just my 02 anyway.

Have them fix the wing as well. In the pic it looks like it's crooked.
