New 350Z owner from KY
Picked up a 2006.5 (it says this on the manual) last Monday. Love it!
Was looking to replace my old 99 Taurus SE that I pretty much wore out. Was looking at Altimas and Mazda 6s when I spied this absolutely beautiful red 350z on the showroom floor. It only had 9000 (that's 9 thousand) miles on it. It's spotless! Looks brand new!
I tried desperately not to look - you know, like when your best buddy's girl is sitting across from you with her ***** hangin' half out?
No good can come of that... So I kept looking at the other cars...was getting ready to leave and then I screwed up....asked the salesman to let me drive it - he was of course more than anxious for that to happen
That was pretty much it. Left the dealership that night without it though...thought I better check insurance. Figured that would be the end of it and I could move on...
But, nooooo. Since I've been with my ins Co for over 20 yrs, they don't rate anything I drive differently - Taurus, Jeep (I have a Liberty Renegade), work van....350Z!!! It will only cost me $200 more/year and that's because I'll carry full coverage when I only had liability on the old Ford.
So I went in Monday eve and made them an offer. Didn't dicker much - left with it - $18,200 out the door. Looked like a good deal...
In service date was 4/24/2007 - so it has a decent amount of warranty left and I went ahead and ponied up another $1800 for the complete wrap for 100k miles...
So, here I am....damn lil red sports cars

Devou Park!! Haven't been up there in years. That was THE place to be in my younger years - hung out there every weekend. Great memories. Unfortunately I've heard it harbors many of the 'alternitive lifestyle' and other seedy types these days ...too bad.
However, I will definetely try to be there - thanks!
