Default Car is not going to be able to be garaged until the end of March.

Hello guys, I just recently bought an 03 350z. Being 18, I'm still living at my parents house, and the garage is already filled by both of their cars. They won't move their cars out into the street either, so I have to leave my baby out in the street for a whole month! I should be getting my own apartment in one month, but I'm wondering what I should do to protect my car while it's sitting outside not in a garage for a month.

What's wrong? It's not like I had my parents pay for the car or anything. Was all my own money.

the cold is not bad for your car. its the salt

if you dont drive it, it should be fine

also there is nothing wrong with your first post, and no reason to get flamed just dont do anything stupid like street racing or lambo doors lol and you will be fine

Should I bother spending that much on a cover when it's only going to be a month or so?

My car is covered when I am not driving. At home and at work. The cover will last about 2 years so figure $7.30/month to keep it covered.

Don't sweet it, my car has lived its entire life outside (no cover or anything), granted it doesn't snow here. The salt on the road won't hurt it in just a month so drive it and enjoy it, however it might not be a bad idea to rinse of the undercariage once in a while.

A good coat of wax should help too.

Actually, I think 350z's pull off lambo doors pretty well. Not going to touch the street racing topic though.

Congratulations on your new Z. Sitting outside for a month should hurt nothing. Just keep wax it and keep it clean. Enjoy driving your new machine.

I have an empty garage stall available, yet I keep my car outside.

Why? Because I'm 100% MAN.
