Sooo after months of research and test drives I finally made my decision and bought a brand new 2008 350Z 6speed base model in San Marino Blue for $22,000 ($24,000 out the door w/ TTT). I literally went around the board checking out different cars. I started with a mazdaspeed3, then went to an acura TL, to many different BMW 3-series, to an RSX Type-S, to an Audi S4, to a G35, to a mustang, and even a FX-35 at one point and finally fell in love when i set my eyes on the 350Z. I wanted the best bang for my buck in a car that i would want to keep for atleast 4 years and not get sick of. The Z was everything i wanted (except 2 seats but who cares, 1 seat for mean 1 seat for 2 girls). Even for maintenance it seemed the most reasonable and reliable. I had a choice between this car, a 2007 white enthusiast w/ 10K for $20,000, or an new 2008 touring for $25,000. The 08 touring was out of my budget and i figured for $2,000 more i could get a brand new car w/ 0 miles and a new warranty.

So right now im at 750 miles and i'm still breaking in the engine. The knuckleheads at the dealorship said there was no break in period. I went from a 2003 honda civic ex coupe to this and let me tell you (even though you probably already know) this car is the S***. I havnt even taken it past 4,000 RPM's and its blown me away. The car is so agile. I can't wait to open her up.

I dont plan on doing to much modding to the engine b/c its going to take me long enough as it is to get used to the power increase. Besides, i dont want to void the warranty, and if i did choose to do some engine work id stick w/ the nismo products. I do plan on making it look and sound sexier than it is. I want to throw on some deep dish, black w/ a chrome lip 19" wheels this summer. Im getting my windows tinted whenever i get a min. I just ordered and recieved the Zenclosures flushmount box w/ an amp rack. I plan on putting my 10" JL audio W7 in it w/ my JL 500/1 amp next week. I have my alpine type-x components to go w/ my JL 300/4 amp. And im getting Alpine IVA-W505/P1 doubled Din Nav/DVD/IPOD/Bluetooth player next week as well. I think im going to put a second touch screen monitor in the cubby aboove it. Im not sure if i need capicitor or not, and if the stock battery can handle this. I want to put in a playstation soon as well.

So if anyone has any ideas or suggestions or useful hints and tips please let me know. Im Psyched to have this car, and its my new baby. Ive been reading the forum for a while now and everything on here has helped me out soo much, and i hope to be of help to the community at some point as well. Just a warning i have no idea how to really use the forum so bear with me please. I live in westchester NY (10576) so if anyone is around please hit me up.
