Newbie on here, but a long time lurker..

I put a deposit today on a '08 silver enthusiast, Auto, with splash guards, mats, cargo. Car has 5 miles and it's been int the showroom since delivered -production date is 07/08. Got it for $24000 or $26,000 otd (cash deal), not bad for an auto enthusiast, is it? Would have gotten an stickshift, almost payed 22,500 for a black base elsewhere, but after reading on here about the many issues with the 6MT, I had to go Auto. Dealer offered me free lifetime powrtrain warranty as long as I get all major maintenance done there. Got some pricing on that and it was very reasonable, for example, $25 oil changes, $124 coolant flush every 30k mi, $140 complete ATF flush every 30k mi, and $115 rear diff flush very 30k mi. I was gonna do all maintenance my self, but I think I'm gonna go this route, since I keep my vehicles forever.
What do you guys think? Overall deal or no deal?

Other vehicle I currently own:
'97 altima with cosmetic mods, trouble free 165,000 mi, I mean not one thing has ever gone wrong with the car (did brakes twice, tires twice, and battery only once, thats it!)
'06 wifes altima, with 53,000 mils, also trouble free so far
'08 GSX-R 1000.

Welcome and congratz on the 2008. When the weather is a little inclement you'll be very thankful you ended up with a silver Z, much easier to keep looking good.

Update though, was able to talk the dealer down another $900, so the OTD price was $25,100. No one commented on whether I got a good deal or not... anyone?

ETA: Since you want comments...not a bad deal I guess. As long as you're happy. I will say however I have no clue what these problems are that you speak of concerning the 6MT....

ETA: N/M this car was interlagos and not silver. Mine's silver also btw. (Chrome Silver). One of these days I'm off I gotta hit ya up bro. As for clear bra...go to chicagoz and post this question there and tell'em I sent ya so they don't give ya **** for being a n00b.
