Default Need some advice

The other day i went out to max out my 2003 350z. It stopped at 120mph and i was only at 4000 rpms in 6th gear. I've heard that it is supposed to stop at 155-160mph. Is there a special mod i need to do this? Also if anyone has any 350 parts they are trying to get rid of email me at str84rumva@yahoo.com

The reason that happened is because you tried maxxing out in 6th gear. 6th gear is purely an overdrive gear used to get good gas mileage. 120 mph is probably the max in that gear. If you intended to hit 155-160, 5th gear is where its at. The only way you can have a "usable" 6th gear is to swap out your final drive, and even then, there's not enough power to continue going once you have maxxed out 5th gear. Hope this clears it up some. The car WILL do 155 in 5th gear, but itll be near redline.

No, he was telling the OP God stopped his car. He was ignoring you in the hopes you would go start another useless exhaust thread.
