Learning how to drive the car :P

On level ground, the Z has enough torque to get you rolling without using the gas. The clutch on the Z has an unusually high friction point but that friction point has a very tiny area. Just let off the clutch slowly without giving any gas. As soon as you feel the car start to pull & the RPMS start to drop, give it a little bit of gas as you let off the clutch even more. At this point, you should totally let of the clutch & finally give more gas. This should be done in 1st & 2nd. 3rd - 6th, no balancing is needed. Hope this helps.

I'm not hatin..just kidding with you..One thing you can do with this car is skip 1st gear. For example when you are approaching traffic or a traffic light and you have it in neutral and you are coasting and if you need to accelerate you can just drop it into 2nd instead of using 1st.I know all you experts already know this but this could be usefull info to a MT noob.

Don't get caught up in the name buddy. Not sure where you are trying to go with this, but I was a Government Contracter for 3 years before i got smart and moved over to the no $hit Government. Don't get me wrong, the money was pretty good, but i seriously doubt it's "more money then most of us make". That's why it's considered a "starter job" for Government employees. lol

At what RPM's do you usually shift gears... because most of the people I've talked to have way different answers. (P.S... the answer of "you just know when to shift" will probably not help )

I honestly don't know!! The only time i pay attention to my RPMs is at the track. Otherwise i go by the sound of the engine, and even then i really don't EVER think about it. You will get to this point eventually. It helps having a blower screaming at ya too, lol.
I'd say while accelerating normaly in traffic, i'd say around 4,000 rpms.
The key is you don't want to shift at too low of an RPM, because you will bogg down the motor, which overtime will beat up your drivetrain, and isn't good for your motor either. But on the other hand you don't want to wind out every gear either.
I know that's proably not to helpful, but it's all i got. I would hope, as old as this thread is, that you have driven alot and should be getting the hang of it by now.
