Hey, If some of you could just write down the steps you take to get your Z going in first gear (i.e. give it some gas THEN let off the clutch) or whatever, i'd greatly appreciate it. I just can't seem to figure it out and i don't want to end up glazing the clutch.

HELP please

also any other tips about driving the 350Z as a manual would be great *i'd rather know them now than figure them out AFTER i've had to replace the clutch*

Why didnt you test drive a friends beater before the 'rents dropped coin on a car you cant drive and will probably wreck?

 

 

just take ur time...its a little tricky at first but eventually u'll get it..

 

Whoa now... iiii bought this car. And most of my friends here in DC drive autos cuz it's a pain to drive a stick in this much traffic... either way, i'm not gonna wreck it... i do know how to drive a car.

 

I think he'd rather you buy a car you know how to drive.

I know I certainly don't want to be the vehicle you're behind at the red light while you're still learning how to finesse the start.
