Default MY New Baby

Hey guys! Im Mike from Florida, Just picked up my first Z this weekend and I am in love. Shes a 2004 Performance model. 50k miles, OTD was 12,500. Pearl White with Stillin exhaust and Injen intake. 6 speed of course. The inside needs a little touch up here and there. I'd like to make the center dash piece carbon fiber since the current piece has some scratches, New carpet would be nice, and the driver window motor needs to be replaced, but other that those few things that you would epect from an 04 I am in love

Rip those stupid looking louvers off the windows. Those belong on Mustangs, not Z's.

Don't worry about the kids. They think everyone should have their taste. There are a few of "them" on every forum. Do what you want with your car. You are paying for it.

Yeah man, do what you like. And welcome. My Z is also pearl white so I automatically love yours. I've even considered putting a stripe on it like yours. I've since picked up a different hood, though. Good luck with fixing up those interior things. Let us know how it comes out.

the steering is SUPER sensative though.....almost to the point where it scares me, If i really get on it the front gets soooo light and the slighest steering input sends it moving.
Its the first performance car ive owned so im not sure if thats normal or not.

make sure you learn to drive it. Take it to a track a couple times and play around with it safely. Otherwise it can give you some of the best driving pleasure you'll every have, or it can be deadly.

congrats man!

That does not sound right. I'd start looking for the culprit right away. Maybe different tire compounds or non-standard sizes f/r?

Did you buy that from GA?

I saw that exact Z on autotrader here. I'm 98% sure it's the same one because I've never seen another Z with louvers, that has a black stripe, and the covers on the lights lol.
