Default What do you think?

I haven't purchased this yet, but I'm pretty sure I'll be picking it up on Saturday. Tell me what you think. It's an '03 Track. The wheels are only 18s, and the tires are Kuhmos. I wish it was a bit lower, too.

But besides that, finding a track with navigation in any color other than silverstone is about impossible. I feel like I'm overpaying a bit, but it's the car I want (unless I could find the same car in PPW). Only 34,000 miles.

The pictures aren't the best quality. Do those seats look lighter (color) than usual?

My plan is to drive it to work on nice days, and to autocross when I have the time.

What material are the seats? its hard to tell from that picture, but if they are a light Grey leather then it looks like the previous owner bought some "Frost" interior OEM seats and installed them in this car.....

See track models were only black fabric from factory........either that or he had the seats upholstered to a different material?

ask and let us know..curious what he did....

Also, the upholstery part is very common, even dealers would do that to track models to help sell them......some dealers back in 03/04 couldn't sell track models due to their higher price in comparison to a touring model with leather........believe me i saw it back when i bought my car new...

I love the Speedsters. I assume that is a replica. But hey, I would still love to have one.

They're cloth. I'm thinking it's an optical illusion b/c of the sunlight... I cropped out the bright light from the sun, and the fabric looks like the normal black fabric. Or you can just stick your hand over the bright spots. I'm not sure how people expect to sell a car without proper photographs... Of course, that's how the rest of us find good deals.

Yeah, it was a kit. If it was the real thing, I would have sold it to buy 2 ferrari's, instead of a Z! Haha. It was a lot of fun, I built it during my last year of college, owned it for 4 years, and saw a great return on it. I just got sick of driving a "cute" car, and I just finished law school, so I'm getting a more mature vehicle. ...and by buying used, I'm getting this for half the price it was new!

The transition from 90 to 287 horsepower should be nice.

Got in touch with the seller. He said seats are factory dark grey/black. It was just bad lighting in the picture.

I also asked about tire size. 275's on the rear. I'm pretty excited about that. I still wish they were 19s, though.

Gotta leave at 5am Saturday to pick it up. I am so stoked.

Maybe I underestimated the frequency with which I will drive the car. The problem is, my wife and I have two dogs, so they usually come with us in the Xterra. However, once we get them enrolled in doggy daycare, we'll probably be taking the Z everywhere!

Plus, I have a feeling that cars w/ nav will hold their value better.

I live in Squirrel Hill.

I'll be in New Stanton at 8:30 am picking up my wife's car from the mechanic out there. She's got a Saab, and Rocky Mountain Garage on Arona Rd is great with them. Her car was abused, so I find myself out there more often than I'd like to be.

It's usually a nice drive back, though - she's got the convertible.

Well, I ended up getting the car, AND IT IS AWESOME!

One of the wheels is curbed to hell, which the seller didn't tell me about before I made the 4 hour drive to Syracuse. And I'll be cleaning the window regulators in the hopes that I don't have to replace them. Two of the 6 speakers weren't working, but my parents own a car audio business, so that was an easy fix!

Besides that, the car is great. It's such a smooth ride, and the power is incredible.

I did get a chance to wax it yesterday... Black is going to be a PITA to keep clean.

One thing I didn't expect is all of the "thumbs up" I get from other drivers. The car looks so sinister w/ the dark rims, but I look like such an idiot b/c I have this huge geeky smile at every red light. Time to tint the windows!

Anyway, I ordered some smoked marker lenses b/c I don't like the look of the orange ones, and I'll be looking at getting that wheel repaired.

I'll probably do a bigger stereo before any performance mods, but who knows...

congrats. and u will get alot of looks, its pretty awesome how ppl fly up to just take a lil look at the car then u got the bone heads who wanna race, just like yesterday i was gettin off the exit and i see an older caviler looked stock except the exhaust heard him put it in neutral and did a few revs i just laughed. think my next upgrade is either a headunit or the plenum spacer. let me know if any cops bug ya with the smoke sides id like to change mine to clear or smoke but i dont want the hassle of the cops given my a fix it ticket.
