ive been putting super unleaded in my car ever since i got her. gas is getting expensive. everytime i go to put gas i want to push regular gas cause its so cheap. if i do will it jack up my car? what will happened to it performance wise?

 

You will loose some HP thats it. The ECU will retard timing when it knocks, that will protect your motor.

 

while you are at this, can you down grade from a Z to a honda civic, too?

now, there are only a couple cents different between the cheaper gasoline and higher one. Please dont be cheap to a Z !

 

If you think about it, it's only about $2 more every time you pump for super unleaded = don't downgrade your gas! Lower octane gasoline can cause your engine to knock, and may harm your engine overtime.
