I been thinking of selling my Z, but i still owe some money on it, can i sell it even when i do not have the pink slip? Please advice, any feedback is apreciated.

 

no one would buy the car without the title in hand. Just my opinion.

 

You need to contact your loan company, tell them you will be selling the car and to have the Title their and will bring in new owners to pay off
They will stamp it with their " release of bond" stamp and new owners are off and happy

I sold my 2001 IS300 last year without ANY problem. I still owed a couple thousand on it. The guys bank sent the payoff to my bank, and we took the title to the DMV and got everything switched over. I cant imagine someone would be that hesitant to purchase a car that wasnt paid off . If anything, you have the ability to contact a financial institution regarding the transaction which should give you some peace of mind.

a. You can sell a vehicle with a lien.

b. You cannot transfer a title with a lien.

When desperate enough, you can sell the rims one at a time, then move on to the car seats, lastly the engine. Piece by piece to make the payments.
