Hey, I bought a 05 350z base for a good price. I have two questions. The car came with a aftermarket radio and I am going back to stock. I found a radio on eBay selling for a good price, but its from an 08 model and it looks different but the connectors are the same. I was wondering if it works for an 05. Also the car has some warranty left and I was considering and extended. I was leaning not to take it, but the dealer is offering me a good 4 year, 100,000 "bumper to bumper" for nearly $2,000, witch sounds to good to be true. Any opinions, comments or advice over this is welcome. Thnx for your comments and I be back, when I have run out of gas for all the driving I am going to do this weekend.

 

how many miles are on your car already?

and im sure your going to end up going aftermarket after a while if you get the stock radio. i would say get a decent aftermarket cd or dvd/nav system. you'll be much happier. IMO

 

My 350z is an 04 and the dealer tried to put a 08 in mine and it didnt fit , they tried this because I had a warranty and I wanted a cd player that same day and they said they have a 08 on the lot and we cant take it out of there, but it didnt work, I have my factory radio out of my 04 thats basically brand new that I replaced with my pioneer f700bt , if you want to buy it send me an offer
